Campaign Story

My name is Amanda. I have lived my life striving to follow God’s plan for love, marriage, and family. I’ve dreamed of having a child of my own; however, a few months before i met my husband I was diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia with atypia (pre-cancer cells in my uterus). I underwent treatment for a year. The treatment was successful, but by the time the treatment was completed my eggs were no longer viable. I was a student at the time and couldn’t afford to freeze my eggs. My husband and I desperately want at least 1 child that is genetically his-it’s impossible for me to now have a genetically related child-before adopting another child. We need a donor egg and a surrogate as well as IVF to have a child. The cost is astronomical. With both of us working and a small side business we still cannot afford it. I know sometimes God doesn’t grant us all our desires and maybe this is the one I do not get, but I cannot give up without trying. So I am here praying for a miracle. Thank you for listening to my story! I wish you the best!
